Rules for submitting work

  1. Only original, unpublished works will be accepted.
  2. Full papers will be presented (not only abstract) for evaluation in one of the official languages (English, Spanish, Frech). Although, the presentation could be done in every language. 
  3. There is a maximum of 5 authors per paper, including the lead author and/or presenter. Give the name of the author who will be presenting the paper.
  4. To present the paper, at least one of the authors must be registered for the Congress.
  5. Each author registered may submit a maximum of 2 papers. Their name may not appear on more than two.
  6. For each paper, presentation certificates will be issued for as many authors as are registered.
  7. The names of all the authors will appear on all the certificates. The name of the author and co-authors must appear with both surnames, preceded by the first name. The order in which authors appear will be that used for subsequent publication of certificates of papers given at the congress, as well as in publications where the work appears.
  8. Work (both oral communications and posters) must be submitted using the space provided on the website.

Rules for submitting Oral Communications

  • A Prize will be awarded to the best Oral Communication.
  • Oral Communications must be sent in the full text version for assessment by the Scientific Committee.
  • The time allowed for an oral presentation is 10 minutes.
  • The text may be published in the Society's journal “Cuadernos de Psiquiatría y Psicoterapia del Niño y del Adolescente”, providing it complies with the rules for publication, which are available on the website. In this case their length must be that required for publications.

Rules for submitting posters

  • A Prize will be awarded to the best poster.
  • Posters must be sent in their final version for assessment (submit in pdf)
  • It is recommended that they follow the latest editions of APA (American Psychological Association) / Vancouver rules.
  • Posters with the following structure will be prioritised:
    a. Introduction
    b. Objectives and/or Hypotheses
    c. Justification
    d. Method (type of design; sample; tools)
    e. Results
    f. Discussion and/or Conclusions
  • Dimensions: 0.90 m wide x 1.20 m high (vertical format). DIN A0
  • Unless they explicitly state the contrary, the authors of posters give their permission to SEPYPNA to publish them on the SEPYPNA website once the Congress is over.
  • Design: free

Key dates

Confirmation of acceptance: by 28th February 2018.
